Do you want to dance? Do you want to have fun? Meet new people or just have something cool and fun to do with your friends?

Ballroom dancing is a great way to keep fit while improving self-confidence. Dancing promotes positive body awareness, rather than negative physical stereotypes, while developing posture, flexibility and muscle tone. Dancers also develop social skills, teamwork, respect for others and themselves. Above all, we have fun!

Elaine has been teaching Ballroom, Latin, and Swing dancing to teens as part of their physical education program at Prince of Wales Secondary and Kitsilano Secondary for many years, and has twice been a guest instructor at Brittania Secondary’s World Music Symposium.

Teens group lesson: Saturdays from 5:30 to 6:30pm
